The U.K. Daily Mail is speculating that the current revival of PROMISES, PROMISES, which opened on Broadway on April 25, 2010, may be getting West End treatment with the show's star, Sean Hayes.
Writes the Daily Mail: "The show could come to London with Hayes, but not Chenoweth. Also, a couple more Bacharach classics could be shoehorned in, such as Walk On By, because the rest of the score is as well known in the UK as it is in the U.S."
It is believed that Chenoweth, who reportedly agreed to sign on only after producers and creative team tempted her by adding two songs not originally in the show ("Say a Little Prayer" and "A House is Not a Home") to build up her otherwise supporting role, would not be making the transfer alongside Hayes.
