RABBIT HOLE Opens 7/14 at Out Front On Main for Two-Week Run

By:

David Lindsay-Abaire's 2007 Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Rabbit Hole, opens at Murfreesboro's Out Front on Main on Thursday, July 14, for a limited two-week run.

Directed for the stage by George W. Manus Jr., artistic director of the thriving new theater company, Rabbit Hole, Becca (played by Leah Fincher) and Howie Corbett (Justin Hand) have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. Lindsay-Abaire's play charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.

Described as "a perceptive and poignant study in the day-to-day aches of bereavement: problems with personal intimacy, the uneasy friends who don't call, the emptiness in a house packed with reminders...Heartbreaking in its theme and details, Rabbit Hole is a beautifully crafted work of great sensitivity," according to a company press release.

In addition to Fincher and Hand, Manus' cast includes Meg Davis as Izzy, Connie Bryant as Nat and David Bennett as Jason.

"Rabbit Hole presents a tragedy and its consequences with utter candor, and without sentimentality. The dialogue is most impressive for capturing the awkwardness and pain of thinking people faced with an unthinkable situation-and eventually, their capacity for survival, and even hope," wrote USA Today.

Rabbit Hole runs Thursdays-Sundays at 7:30 p.m., July 14-24. Tickets are $10, general admission, or $5 for students/seniors. For reservations or for further details, call (615) 516-6279 or visit the company's website at www.outfrontonmain.com. Out Front on Main, Inc. is located at 1511 E. Main Street, in Murfreesboro's historic downtown.
