Qweirdo Improv Showcase Comes To IO Thursdays In June
We're pleased to announce the next episode of gay improv and comedy at Chicago's premiere improv theatre iO. Ladies and Gentlemen and Lady-Gentlemen, it's: Qweirdo!
Qweirdo is a recurring showcase of Chicago's top gay comedians and improvisers coming together on Thursdays to make you laugh in the way that only your gay best friend can. The anchor improv team (not a sailor reference) is "1, 2, 3, Fag!" featuring Seth Dodson, John Hartman, and Kellen Alexander. They will invite different gay groups and solo acts to perform with them each Thursday.
In honor of June being Gay Pride Month, a portion of all ticket sales will go to Lambda Legal. Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
