Project 891 Theatre Co Presents OUR LEADING LADY, 11/4-12/4
Project 891 Theatre Co today announced the first show of its 2011-2012 season featuring 2 Chicago premiers that ask the question: "How do we redefine normal after a national tragedy?" The regular season opens with Project 891 presenting the midwest and Chicago premiers of Our Leading Lady by Charles Bush, directed by ensemble member Michael Rashid, opening Friday, November 4th at City Lit Theater.
Our Leading Lady follows the adventures of a group of actors, led by famed thespian Laura Keene, rehearsing for a performance at Ford's Theatre in Washington DC on April 14, 1865. President Lincoln is rumored to be in the audience that night! What could possibly go wrong?
Our Leading Lady will run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30P and Sundays at 2P, November 4th through December 4th at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr. Our Leading Lady features an ensemble cast comprised of Michael Bassett, Aaron Benham, David Besky, Mary Anne Bowman, Liz Hoffman, Laura Korn, Jason Nykiel, Danne W. Taylor, and Michelle X. Taylor, with costumes by Liz Hoffman, lights by John Kelly, props by Floyd A. May, and set by Steph Charaska.Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets or reserved by emailing project891theatre@gmail.com.
