Printz's RACE RELATIONS Reading Held, Part Of The Trench Play Development Series
Paragon Theatre is proud to present another reading in the 2009 season of The Trench: Paragon's New Play Development Series with Carrie Printz's RACE RELATIONS..
At a liberal university campus in the mid-1980s, a student newspaper editor and her rabble-rousing star columnist grapple with concepts of journalistic integrity as they question how to bring issues of race to light without inciting a riot themselves.Carrie Printz is a journalist who took playwriting classes at Brown University and studied locally with playwright/director Terry Dodd and University of Denver Assistant Professor of Theatre Allison Horsley. RACE RELATIONS recently received an honorable mention in the New York City-based, international New Works of Merit Playwriting Contest.
RACE RELATIONS by Carrie Printz
Directed by Warren Sherrill
Featuring: Matt Zambrano, Taylor Gonda, Leigh Miller, Kimberly Williams, Adrienne Martin Fullwood and Jeremy Make.
This FREE reading will take place TONIGHT (Monday, May 18th) at 7:00 PM at The Crossroads Theater, 2590 Washington Street.
The Trench: Paragon's New Play Development Series is designed to give Colorado playwrights the opportunity to develop and improve their writing while gaining vital exposure to a larger audience. All Trench readings are free and open to the public and are followed by a mediated talk back and refreshments.
