Plan B's ADAM & STEVE AND THE EMPTY SEA Heads to FringeNYC, Aug 2013

By:

Following a sold-out Salt Lake City run, Plan-B Theatre Company's
2013 world premiere production of ADAM & STEVE AND THE EMPTY SEA by Matthew Greene has been selected for the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival this coming August.

Adam is Mormon. Steve is gay. Set against the backdrop of the passage of Prop. 8, these childhood friends grapple with religion, sexuality, politics and adulthood.

New York performance venue and schedule TBA.

Featuring Topher Rasmussen and Logan Tarantino, directed by Jerry Rapier (NYC) and Jason Bowcutt (SLC).

Matthew Greene was represented at the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival with #MORMONINCHIEF (Michael Holt Productions), which Plan-B staged as a reading at THE ROSE EXPOSED last September.

ADAM & STEVE AND THE EMPTY SEA is Plan-B Theatre Company's second production to have a continue life in New York, following Carol Lynn Pearson's FACING EAST in 2007.

The New York International Fringe Festival (aka FringeNYC) celebrates its 17th season in 2013. It is the largest multi-arts festival in North America, with more than 200 companies from all over the world performing for 16 days in more than 20 venues.
