Pittsburgh CLO Academy Holding Open House 8/9

 Pittsburgh CLO Academy is holding an open house for interested parents and students who would like to tour the facilities and participate in sample dance, acting and musical theater classes.

On Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 10:00am – 12:00pm.  At Pittsburgh CLO Academy of Musical Theater

Students and parents are invited to visit the CLO Academy to meet the staff members, tour the studios and participate in sample classes. On-site registration for classes will also be offered.

Affiliated with one of the most respected musical theater organizations in the country, the CLO Academy offers professional quality courses designed to fit the needs of individual students ages 5-18. Three diverse programs - the Children School, the Student School and the Pre-Professional School allow students to find the program that is right for them.   

New classes for 2008-09 include:
 
Musical Theater Dance Styles - Students will learn ensemble dance numbers from musicals in preparation for Regional and Broadway open dance auditions.

Commercial Jazz Dance – Designed for the student who aspires to learn "So You Think Can Dance" moves, the course focuses upon more aggressive dance skills including tricks and hip hop.

All-Academy Musical – Open to all students ages 7-18 enrolled in Academy classes. Students stage a full performance of a popular musical.
