The Broadway Workshop, Manhattan's fastest growing acting program for young artists welcomed Mandy Gonzalez and Laura Woyasz from the Broadway company of Wicked as their special guest performers in their 2010 CAMP NYC finale at New World Stages.
50 musical theatre-loving children from all over the United States came together for five amazing days in New York City this past August. In addition to rehearsing for the Camp NYC finale, campers took theatrical workshops with Laura Osnes (South Pacific, Grease) LaQuet Sharnell (Memphis, Lion King), Eric Sciotto (Rock of Ages, Cry Baby), John Patrick Hayden (Tartuffe), Colin Conliffe (Addams Family), Jared Gertner (Spelling Bee), Stephanie Fittro (Legally Blonde) & Casey Leigh Thompson (Legally Blonde).
On Wednesday of the camp week campers took a seat at Wicked on Broadway where they had an opportunity to see Mandy Gonzalez (Elphaba) and Laura Woyasz (Glinda). Campers where joined by Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Woyasz in their opening number of The Broadway Workshop's Camp NYC finale at Off Broadway's New World Stages.
