BroadwayWorld shares with you publicity photos from the pre-Broadway tryout production of
Lestat, a new musical featuring the music of Elton John the lyrics of Bernie Taupin, and a book by
Linda Woolverton.
Lestat is based on Anne Rice's
The Vampire Chronicles. Previews began at the Curran Theatre on Dec. 17, and the production officially opens on Jan. 8.

Derek McLane, costume design by Tony Award-winner Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Jonathan Deans, hair design by Tom Watson, with a visual concept design by David McKean.
Lestat has orchestrations by
Steve Margoshes, with musical supervision by Guy Babylon, musical direction by Brad Haak, and vocal arrangements by Todd Ellison. The cast of sixteen also features
Rachel Coloff,
Nikki Renee Daniels, Joseph Dellger, Colleen Fitzpatrick, Megan Reinking,
Drew Sarich, Amy Sparrow,
Will Swenson,
Steve Wilson and Tommar Wilson.
Announced today was
Jack Noseworthy's
departure from the production (he appears in one photo). He had been playing the vampire Armand.
