Photo Flash: Off-Broadway Opening Of EXIT CUCKOO

Working Theater celebrated the Off-Broadway opening of EXIT CUCKOO -- a new play written and performed by Lisa Ramirez about the intricate and colorful culture of nannies in New York and the people who employ them, at Theater Row's Clurman Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) through May 17 -- with a party Thursday night at nearby West Bank Café.

Opening night guests joining Ms. Ramirez included the play's director Colman Domingo (recently seen on Broadway in "Passing Strange" and soon to be at The Vineyard Theatre in his own solo show "A Boy and His Soul"); actor Arthur French ("Dividing The Estate"); Tony Award-winner Andre De Shields ("The Full Monty"); playwright Betty Shamieh ("Roar"); costume designer Raul Aktanov; director Lisa Peterson ("End Days"); author David Strah ("Gay Dads: A Celebration of Fatherhood"); Working Theater's Artistic Director Connie Grappo, Producing Director Mark Plesent and Director of Special Events Laura Carbonell Smith; and others.
