Photo Flash: KVPAC's Masquerade and Martini Mixer

The Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center (KVPAC) Board of Trustees is hosting their annual fundraiser this year at the beautiful Agave Road located at 1016 FM 1463 in Katy on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 6:30-10:00pm. The event will be a Masquerade & Martini Mixer benefiting KVPAC's Community Outreach. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, KVPAC annually serves more than 14,000 children, youth and adults through its outreach programs and free ARTS for ALL! events. Board Benefit Sponsors are Two Forks Catering, Katy Magazine, Tradition Bank and Home Makeover Expo.
 
At the mixer, delicious food will be provided by Two Forks Catering, the successful catering arm of Hasta La Pasta. AmericaStar is providing the event's entertainment and a special preview of KVPAC's Encore Players fall production of Into The Woods by Stephen Sondheim will also be performed. The evening will round out with an array of silent auction items affordable across the spectrum. If you would like to donate auction items to support KVPAC and promote your business at the gala, please contact Board Benefit Chairperson, Teresa Kennedy, at fallbenefit@kvpac.org. Mode of dress is business to cocktail attire and masks are optional and fun! Masks can be purchased at the event or at KVPAC on Saturday, September 12 from 10am-12pm (prices range from $3-$30).
 
KVPAC Member ticket prIce To this event is $30 per person and the non-Member Ticket price is $40 per person. (Retain and present your ticket for one complimentary beverage from the cash bar.) Full Table Sponsorships are available for $500 and are tax-deductible.
 
KVPAC's Board of Trustees is all volunteers and local Katy residents. Board Members are Patti Lacy (President), Donna Wheaton (VP Steering), Teresa Kennedy (VP Fund-raising), Cindi Gardner (Secretary), Clyde Miller (Treasurer), Dr. Scott Gehman (Assistant Treasurer) and Donna Wheaton (VP Steering). "They have enthusiastically supported KVPAC's administration through its recent building expansion", says Lisa Connolly, KVPAC Marketing Director. "Their level of dedication to our organization is unsurpassed. We are extremely grateful for all they do for us."
 
Former KVPAC Board Member and Katy Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Katrina Katsarelis, will be honored by the Board at this event with the Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center's annual 'Art of Katy Award'. This award is presented each year to major KVPAC advocates who have gone above and beyond their commitment to community outreach servIce Through KVPAC.
