Photo Flash: CG Theatre Presents A TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS

Local filmmaker Jeffrey Moore and Common Ground Theatre owner Rachel Klem team up to present this interactive, holiday entertainment. Set in West Durham, A Trailer Park Christmas follows the Dodson/ Hussy family as they grapple with crazy neighbors, ghosts, fruitcakes and a holiday tornado.

A letter from Loraine Dodson- Whispering Pines Trailer Park, West Durham: "Dear Friends- Please join our family for holiday festivities at our trailer, row M, lot 16. There will be snacks, a little karaoke, and a lot of love as we celebrate the season together. No need to bring anything except yourselves, RSVP if you're coming. See you soon! Love, Loraine."

Jeffrey Moore writes, directs, produces, and acts in his short films. His first film What the Frock?! premiered at The Palm Springs International Short Film Festival in 2007. It also won best short film at the 2007 Ava Gardner Film Festival. Jeffrey is a member of Transactors Improv Company.

Rachel Klem owns Common Ground Theatre, is the managing director for the local theatre company Ghost & Spice Productions, and is a company member of Transactors Improv. She developed the on-going serial improv show, City of Medicine, for Transactors and has written many plays including The Bowling Show and Goodnight, Animals. She has adapted numerous children's books for the stage such as The Wonderful Life of a Fly Who Couldn't Fly and Timothy Cox Will Not Change His Socks. She holds an MFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University and teaches Theatre at NC State.

Common Ground Theatre is a performance and teaching space located in west Durham, offering performing arts and educational groups a flexible, well-equipped alternative space. The Theatre provides a convenient venue for Triangle audiences to experience the diversity of our area's arts and educational offerings.
