Photo Flash: Beavercreek Community Theatre Presents SHERLOCK HOLMES

There will be plenty of mystery, romance, action, danger and laughter on the stage of Beavercreek Community Theatre when the BCT Children's Theatre presents "Sherlock Holmes."

Tim Kelly's adaptation of Sir Arthur Doyle's famous detective story will be presented at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays from Dec. 4 through Dec. 14 under the direction of Teresa Connair of Dayton.

Alice, portrayed by Zoe Grieze of Beavercreek, has letters written by a dead girl. Professor Moriarty, played by Troy Gould of Kettering, wants those letters.

Sherlock Holmes, played by Jared Sellers of Beavercreek, not only wants the letters but he also wants to keep them out of the hands of Moriarty.

The professor's gang has London in its grip but only the young Holmes understands the true, sinister objective the professor has in mind. Therefore, Holmes, who is assisted by Dr. Watson, portrayed by Adam Koenig of Oakwood, is willing to put his life on the line to stop Moriarty's plan.

The cast also includes Beavercreek residents Maria Schlegel, Patrick Breitenstein, Katlyn Tilt, Sarah Sellers, KiEran Smith, Makenna Tracy, Anna Schlegel, Katherine Toronto, Patrick Breitenstein, Matthew Sellers, Lindsey Engle, Lorrin Bush, Jacob Anderson and Maddy Swanson.

Fairborn sisters Melissa and Sarah Conrad are in the cast as is Jasmine Moses of Xenia, Destre Inlow and Kyle Mercuri of Kettering, Katie Goralski of Miamisburg, Stephanie Snyder of Troy and Katie Wilhelm of Dayton.

The show's assistant director is Katie Storost of Kettering and the technical director is John Falkenbach of Kettering. Anne Heitker of Beavercreek is the producer and Ashley Davis of Miamisburg will be working behind the scenes as the technical assistant. Bruce Brown of Dayton designed the set.

Beavercreek Community Theatre is located in the former Lofino's grocery store at 3868 Dayton-Xenia Road, which is now the Lofino Adult Enrichment and Cultural Arts Center, the home of both the theater and the Beavercreek Senior Center.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $11 for BCT members, students, and senior citizens.
A group discount of $1 per ticket is available to groups of 10 or more purchased at the same time for the same performance.

A mat area directly in front of the stage will be available for young children, under the age of 10, for a reduced rate of $6. An adult or older child, may accompany a child on the mats for $11. Mat seating is limited and will be on a general admission basis.
