By:

Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace introduces the timeless classic A Christmas Carol, runs through December 22. There will be two special performances, dedicated to children and families on Wednesday, December 6th and Wednesday, December 20th at 7:30p.m, with dinner offered at 5:30pm. This festive dinner/theater event is a wonderful way to introduce children to the arts. On these two special evenings, Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace will feature a family-friendly dinner menu including favorites such as "Humbug Hamburgers" and "Cratchit's Chicken Fingers" for kids.

This all time favorite play with music is sure to please the whole family. A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the miserly old man, who receives a Christmas Eve visit from the ghost of his partner, Jacob Marley, warning him to mend his selfish ways. During the night three spirits appear before Scrooge, showing him visions of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future, finally revealing the possible results of his unloving, uncaring life. He promises to change as he's not the man he was.

Regular performances are at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (Call box office for specific details). Special performances are on December 6th and 20th at 7:30 p.m. with special dinner menu available at 5:30 p.m. Show only tickets are available for $8.50 and a group rate of $7.50 per person is available for parties of 20 or more.
