On October 24th, 2008 actress Tamara Tunie celebrated a special episode of Law & Order: SVU titled "Retro" with a special hand print ceremony at Planet Hollywood in Times Square.
Tamara Tunie is known for playing Jessica on “As the World Turns”, a part she played from 1986 to 1995 and again from 1999 to 2007. She currently stars as Dr. Melinda Warner on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.In theater she has starred in JULIUS CAESAR and DREAMGIRLS on Broadway. She has also starred off-Broadway in TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN and in Shakespeare in the Park in TROILUS AND CRESSIDA.
