Having spent the year entertaining audiences around the world from Los Angeles and Australia to London and Switzerland, Shoshana Bean returned to New York City for the first time since her 2010 Jazz at Lincoln Center concert and sold out command performance at Le Poisson Rouge concert in January of 2010. This time she was armed with brand new tunes and a brand new mission!
Worship at the church of high heels, sequins, booze, blues, soul, riffs and whistle-tones. In the show, Shoshana deftly creates an electrifying and unique experience for her audiences. This soulful party is full of brand new original tunes and covers from the greatest classic soul singers, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Otis Redding. Music for the bruised, but not broken.
