The ScotArts Party is the first event to celebrate the opening of the second annual Brits Off Broadway festival at 59E59 Theaters, during NYC's Tartan Week celebrations. Brits Off Broadway features 11 New York premieres of some of the most exciting and provocative theater from the UK.

This year¹s festival includes four selections directly from Scotland; When the Bulbul Stopped Singing , adapted by David Greig, from the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh; Deco Diva written and performed by Kara Wilson, from the Edinburgh Fringe and the Royal Academy of Art in Piccadilly; The People Next Door by Henry Adam, also from the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh; and Sisters, Such Devoted Sisters by Russell Barr, from Scotland's Out of Joint Productions.
