Photo Coverage: 'Next To Normal' Opening Night Party
On Wednesday February 13, Second Stage Theatre (307 West 43rd street) officially opened the new musical Next to Normal, featuring Alice Ripley, Brian d'Arcy James, Adam Chanler-Berat, Jennifer Damiano, Asa Somers, and Aaron Tveit. With music by Tom Kitt, book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, and direction by two-time Tony nominee Michael Greif.
"How does an almost average family navigate today's over-stimulated and over-medicated world? In this darkly funny and haunting new musical, one suburban household confronts its past and its future. Patrons under age 25 may purchase a limited number of specially-priced $25 tickets in advance. A limited number of student rush tickets are $15 and are available 30 minutes prior to curtain.
