Photo Coverage: NOTHING LIKE A DAME - Part One

"Nothing Like a Dame: A Party for Comden and Green" the annual all-star concert benefiting the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative took place on Monday, November 1, 2010 7:30 p.m. at The Laura Pels Theater in midtown Manhattan 111 W. 46th St..

"Nothing Like a Dame: A Party for Comden and Green" celebrates the six-decade collaboration of Tony Award-winning and Oscar-nominated writing duo of Betty Comden and Adolph Green, who together produced some of the most beloved and successful Hollywood musicals and Broadway shows of the mid-20th century, including On the Town, Wonderful Town, Do Re Mi, Subways Are for Sleeping, Bells are Ringing, Hallelujah, Baby!, Applause, Lorelei, On the Twentieth Century and The Will Rogers Follies, as well as screenplays for On the Town, The Band Wagon, Auntie Mame and Singin' in the Rain.

The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that helps everyone - performers and those behind the scenes - who works in performing arts and entertainment, helping close to 12,000 people directly each year, and hundreds of thousands online. Serving professionals in film, theatre, television, music, opera, radio and dance, The Fund's programs include social services and emergency assistance, health care and insurance, housing, and employment and training services.
