Photo Coverage: 'Man of La Mancha' Opening Night at White Plains

The White Plains Performing Arts Center production of Man of La Mancha officially opened Thursday, November 29.  This new production of the Tony Award-winning musical based on Miguel de Cervantes' classic tale, "Don Quixote" is the inaugural production of the Broadway Classics series at the theatre to play through December 16.

Robert Cuccioli, Tony Award-nominee of Jekyll & Hyde and recently in the acclaimed Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, stars as Don Quixote.  Carlos Lopez stars as Sancho Panzo, and Rosena M. Hill as Adonza.

Man of La Mancha is directed by Luke Yankee and choreographed by Devanand Janki, with scenery by Michael Hotopp, costumes by Carrie Robbins and Lighting by Thom Weaver.

Tickets are $60/$50 with season subscriptions and gift certificates also available. White Plains Performing Arts Center is located on the third level of City Center at the corner of Main and Mamaroneck in downtown White Plains, just 30 minutes from midtown Manhattan, and there is plenty of convenient parking. For tickets please call 914-328-1600 or buy them online at www.wppac.com.
