Photo Coverage: Broadway Softball League

On Thursday, May 10th at Heckscher Softball Fields in Central Park at 11:15 AM, some of Broadway's best opened the 53rd season of the Broadway Softball League.

Among the included stars were: Stephanie J. Block (The Pirate Queen), Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening), Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde), Alexa Vega (Hairspray); and singing the national anthem: The Jersey Boys - Christian Hoff, Daniel Reichard, John Lloyd Young, and J. Robert Spencer.

There was be a special appearance�by Mr. Met (The official mascot of the New York Mets).� In addition, the following teams played: A Chorus Line, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, The Phantom of the Opera, Spring Awakening,and The Coast of Utopia.
