Photo Coverage: BET HONORS - The Arrivals

The BET Honors took place at the Warner Theater in Washington DC on January 17th. The star of the big version of CHICAGO and HAIRSPRAY Queen Latifah was among the many stars that showed up to pay tribute to the lives and accomplishments of "African American luminaries".

The event hosted by Gabrielle Union honored the likes of Mary J. Blige, Tyler Perry and Magic Johnson. Anita Baker performed thrilling versions of "One" and "Caught Up In The Rapture" while Monica sang "Not Gon Cry" during a tribute to Mary J. Blige.

The BET Honors will air on Monday, February 9th at 9:00pm on BET

After his life as an ingenue in Brooklyn & Queens, Walter spent the next 25 Years in a leading role as a Photographer / Photo Researcher in Manhattan. He is currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and children Dali & Gala. As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of "GREASE". His journey on the path to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night.
