Photo Coverage: 'A Catered Affair' Meet and Greet

On this Monday, March 10th the cast and crew of the upcoming Broadway show A Catered Affair enjoyed a 'Meet and Greet' that took place at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. �A Catered Affair is the new musical with book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino and directed by Tony Award-winner J ohn Doyle. It begins preview performances March 25 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).

A Catered Affair asks the question that inevitably faces every mother and daughter: Whose wedding is it anyway?� One family's dilemma is now a funny, poignant and oh, so human show of love and disaffection.� Set in the Bronx of 1953, this musical reveals a couple strained to their limits as they plan their only daughter's wedding.� Harvey Fierstein's book and John Bucchino's score explore both our need for love and the true meaning of family," describe press notes.

The cast includes award-winning stars Faith Prince, Tom Wopat, Harvey Fierstein, Leslie Kritzer and Matt Cavenaugh.

After his life as an ingenue in Brooklyn & Queens, Walter spent the next 25 Years in a leading role as a Photographer / Photo Researcher in Manhattan. He is currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and children Dali & Gala. As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of "GREASE". His journey on the path to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night.
