On April 4th, 2016, Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS) hosted the latest in its series of Broadway sessions with cast members from Fiddler on the Roof for the patients of Calvary Cancer Hospital. The musical performance included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from Fiddler on the Roof. Patients and their families, nurses, doctors and staff enjoyed a one-hour session, as well as a meet-and-greet visit with the cast following the performance. Scroll down for photos from the event!

SFYS Executive Director Jackie Vanderbeck explains, "Sing For Your Seniors' Broadway sessions bring the essence of a particular show to a community of people who would otherwise not get the opportunity to experience the wonder and thrill of Broadway because of their physical health or financial need."

"We cannot thank Sing For Your Seniors enough for their continuing love and support," said Eddie Gorman, head of Calvary Hospital's therapeutic recreation department. "When they brought cast members from 'Fiddler on the Roof' to Calvary, these talented and giving performers provided a much-needed and much-appreciated diversion for our patients and their families. Their kindness and care provided a 'normalized' atmosphere that truly enhances the quality of our patients' lives."

Performers from Fiddler on the Roof included Julie Benko (Les Miserable, Spring Awakening US Tour), Melanie Moore (Finding Neverland) Tess Primack (Fiddler on the Roof), Matt Moisey (Fiddler on the Roof), Michael Bernardi (Fiddler on the Roof), Aaron Young (Fiddler on the Roof), and Will Johnson (Les Miserables US Tour, Mary Poppins US Tour) on piano.
