Photo Flash: MOONLIGHT & LOVE SONGS Kicks Off Gayfest NYC 2013

By:

"Moonlight & Love Songs" by Scott C. Sickles opened GAYFEST, NYC at the June Havoc Theater on May 24th. BroadwayWorld has photos and a set rendering from the show below!

Forty-five and alone, architect Harry Wallace's (Gerald McCullouch) romantic dreams come true when he falls in love with Jim, (Nick Bailey) a young college student. Their romance seems motion picture-perfect until a staggering revelation causes it to implode. Public outrage follows as Jim attempts to repair the damage caused by his betrayal and Harry finds himself complicit in the deception.

The not-for-profit GAYFEST NYC, Inc. is a New York City arts organization that nurtures playwrights and develops new LGBT and other minority plays and musicals for world stages and film and television production. GAYFEST NYC, Inc. presents a biennial festival showcasing those works most ready for production and offers other productions and readings throughout the year.

Gerald McCullouch, Nick Bailey, Corey Richmond Skaggs, Kathryn Markey, Robert Meksin, D.H. Johnson, Christine Verleny make up the cast.
