Yesterday, July 4, America's national Independence Day celebration kicked off our country's 236th birthday with BBQs and fireworks across the nation.  Down in America's capitol, Washington DC was host the the annual A CAPITOL FOURTH concert, broadcast on PBS.

The concert featured Broadway's own two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick performing songs from the hit Broadway musical NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT with four-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara; acclaimed Broadway and television star Megan Hilty (SMASH); singer-songwriter Javier Colon (winner of THE VOICE); AMERICAN IDOL winner Phillip Phillips, and actress and singer Amber Riley (GLEE) and more!
