Photo Flash: Julie Halston Brings CLASSICAL JULIE to Birdland
"Classical Julie" includes new Halston rants, as well as her inimitable take on Ibsen and other highly literate writers. Her impression of Little Edie Beale performing the role of Lady MacBeth was an audience favorite, as was a harrowing experience with her sister, who is a Revolutionary War Reenactor. Of course, there were iconic readings of some of the more ridiculous New York Times wedding announcements that have become Halston trademarks.
