Photo Flash: First Look at Mary-Arrchie's GEOGRAPHY OF A HORSE DREAMER
Production Team: Ryan Bourque (fights), Gaby Labotka (asst. direction/ props), Laura Oleska (sound), Casey Peek (stage manager), Amanda Rozmiarek (set), Claire Sangster (lights), Stefin Steberl (costumes), Dereck Garner (TD), and Michelle Underwood (projections).
Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Sam Shepard (Buried Child, True West, Fool for Love) penned this twisted, black-humored tale about an unlucky cowboy whose fading gift for dreaming horse-race winners has landed him in the forced company of a pair of low-level thugs, eager to please their crime boss. Shepard directed the premiere of his play in London, which starred Stephen Rea and Bob Hoskins. Carlo Lorenzo Garcia directs this production for Chicago's Mary-Arrchie Theatre Company, now in its 27th season.
