Photo Flash: Downtown's 'The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus'

"The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus," a new musical based on the book by L. Frank Baum ("The Wizard of Oz") opens at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Saturday, November 15, 2008 and will play through December 28th.

This family-friendly holiday musical features book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and lyrics by Scott Simonelli. The team has written musical versions of Elise Primavera's "Auntie Claus," Robert San Souci's "Cinderella Skeleton," the punk rock "Oliver Twist" and most recently "Halloween High School." The production team includes Hugh Hallinan (lights), Delmar (sets), Jimmy Johansmeyer (costumes), Steve Swatt (Technical Direction), and Phill Hill (Production Stage Manager). The musical is directed by Artistic Director Bert Bernardi.

Featured in the cast are Lance Anthony as Claus, Jeffrey James Dinan as Jingles and Jimmy Johansmeyer, Ashley DePascale, Maria Vee, Andrew Pane, Kyle Dobkowski, Taylor Conat, Cathy Cann, Tyler Angotta, Michael Ell and Pamela Nastu Garrett.
