Photo Flash: Detroit Tigers' Miguel Cabrera Visits THE LION KING

Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers, 2012's MVP of the American League, kept his feline connection strong while in New York City this past weekend. He and his family took in the hit Broadway show, The Lion King, on Friday, January 18th. Check out a photo of him with the cast below!

Cabrera, the first Triple Crown winner in 45 years, won the AL MVP by receiving 22 of 28 first-place votes and 362 points from a panel of Baseball Writers' Association of America. The Detroit Tigers third baseman was in NYC to accept his award at the New York Baseball Writers' Association of America dinner, Jan. 19, 2013, at the New York Hilton.
