Photo Flash: Cast of Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2009 NEW YEAR'S EVE REVIEW

By:

The 2009 Season marked The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 15th Anniversary Season. For the year, WOB brought many area premieres to the stage including a regional theatre premiere production of the musical comedy The Wedding Singer and Mel Brooks' The Producers. Capping off the year, WOB has added a New Year's Eve special event to the calendar to celebrate the end of 2009 and arrival of 2010.

The evening's activities will begin at 8:00 p.m. with a full dinner buffet followed by the New Year's Eve 2009 Revue. At midnight, there will be a champagne toast, with a continental breakfast ending the evening. The New Year's Eve 2009 Revue is being especially written for this one-time only performance and will bring together some of Way Off Broadway's most familiar faces performing numbers from Broadway shows past and present, as well as other popular favorites from yesterday and today. Appearing on in the revue will be Ann Davis, Bill Kiska, Christie L. Kiska, Sarah Melinda, Shawn Nakia, Jordan Stocksdale, and Susan Thornton. The revue is written and directed by Way Off Broadway's President and Managing Director, Justin M. Kiska.

Tickets for the special evening are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling the Box Office at (301) 662-6600. For complete details on the night's activities, those interested can visit www.wayoffbroadway.com.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has been a leader in the region's performing arts community since it first opened in 1995. Under the direction of the Kiska Family since 2002, WOB, currently celebrating its 15th Anniversary Season, has produced such productions as A Funny Thing . . . Forum, Guys & Dolls, Steel Magnolias, Oklahoma!, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, The Odd Couple, A Chorus Line, The Sound of Music, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita , and Cats, as well as the regional premieres of Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical, Jerry Herman's La Cage aux Folles, and The Wedding Singer. For 2010, Way Off Broadway is proud to bring productions of The Full Monty, All Shook Up, Nunsense A-Men!, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Christmas Follies: The North Pole Revue to the stage.
