Photo Flash: Boston University’s 4th Annual InCite Arts Festival

By:

The Boston University College of Fine Arts returns to New York for the fourth installment of its InCite Arts Festival, themed "The Power of Art." The festival runs March 10 - 14 at venues throughout Manhattan and features students, faculty, alumni and friends of the College's Schools of Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts. For information, visit http://www.bu.edu/cfa/incite or call 617-353-3350.

The festival, which has been highlighted by The NY Times, The Washington Post and The New Yorker since its launch in 2008, features the new play Fallujah; a musical and theatrical tribute to Paul and Jane Bowles, Two Stars in the Desert; C.P. Taylor's play Good; a lecture by illustrator and BU alumnus Rick Meyerowitz; and a showcase and exhibit of graduating performance and design majors from the BU School of Theatre. Jim Petosa, Artistic Director of the InCite Arts Festival and Director of the BU School of Theatre, explains, "For four years now, InCite Arts Festival has demonstrated the unique power of the young artist to generate interdisciplinary collaborations with professional faculty and alumni, spirited work that engages current societal challenges, and audiences with a hunger for it all. Our Boston University College of Fine Arts is proud to advance the cause of unbridled artistic expression as we celebrate the potency of our disciplines and The Power of Art."
