Photo Flash: Berkeley Rep Presents Rita Moreno: Life Without Makeup
Berkeley Rep (Roda Theatre, 2015 Addison Street @ Shattuck) will present Tony Taccone's Rita Moreno: LIFE WITHOUT MAKEUP, starring Rita Moreno with Ray Garcia and Salvatore Vassallo. The production features direction by David Galligan and choreography by Lee Martino and will run through October 30, 2011.
LIFE WITHOUT MAKEUP features a four-piece band with Cesar Cancino (music director), Sascha Jacobsen (bass), Alex Murzyn (reeds), and David Rokeach (percussion).
The set is designed by Anna Louizos with costume design by Annie Smart, video and light design by Alexander V. Nichols and sound design by Phil Allen.
Opening night: Wednesday 9/7 @ 8:00 PM
Teen night: Friday 9/9 @ 6:30 PM
night/OUT (LGBT party): Friday 9/9 @ 8:00 PM
Pre-show docent talks: Tuesdays 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18 & 10/25 and Thursdays 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29, 10/6 & 10/20 @ 7:00 PM
Post-play discussions: Thursday 9/22, Tuesday 9/27, and Friday 10/7 @ 8:00 PM
Tickets cost between $14.50 - $73.
