Photo Flash: BILLY ELLIOT Workshop at A Class Act NY Acting Studio, 11/1

A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, hosted a one-day Billy Elliot Workshop on Nov. 1st with stars Trevor Braun (Michael) and Thommie Retter (Mr. Braithwaite.) Kids worked on scenes, songs, and a dance combo from Billy Elliot as well as proper audition technique. Manager, Aaron Anderson of Kanner Entertainment also came in to observe class and conduct a mock audition.

The four hour workshop that ran from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm focused on a dance combination from Billy Elliot, song interpretation and vocal coaching, scene work from Billy Elliot and musical theatre audition technique.

The workshop was held at Ripley-Grier Studios at 520 8th Ave.
