In honor of its 8th Anniversary on Broadway, the blockbuster musical Wicked treated its fans to a special "Ultimate Encore" performance yesterday, October 30th. Over 10,000 Wicked fans cast their votes online for their favorite song from the musical to be performed by the current Broadway cast for this one-time-only performance following Sunday's matinee. The "Ultimate Encore" performance was broadcast worldwide over Facebook that evening at 9pm for Wicked fans across the globe and features appearances by Wicked alumni, composer Stephen Schwartz & More!

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book byWinnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.
