Photo Coverage: Upright Cabaret's 'RHYTHM OF THE NIGHT' shines with Margherita, Hernandez, et al.
On Sat, May 5th, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and Chris Isaacson celebrated Cinco de Mayo by presenting Upright Cabaret's 'Rhythm Of The Night' celebrating the Music of Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan and Santana.
Starring Oliver Award-winner Lesli Margherita (Zorro), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (In The Heights, Disney's The Little Mermaid), Lexi Lawson (Rent, In The Heights) and American Idol's David Hernandez, the concert featured the #1 hit songs of the celebrated Icons including Livin' La Vida Loca, La Copa de Vida, Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, Anything for You, Smooth and Black Magic Woman. Music Directed by Jamieson Trotter and backed by the Upright Cabaret band.
'Rhythm of the Night' is a part of 'Upright Cabaret's American Icon Series' which tours Southern California including Palm Springs at the Annenberg Theatre, La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.
