Photo Coverage: The Hunt for 'Dorothy' Begins in Toronto for THE WIZARD OF OZ Reality Show

This past Monday the streets of Toronto could well have been interchangeable with a certain Yellow Brick Road, as hundreds of young women flocked to open auditions of CBC Televisions upcoming "Over The Rainbow", a reality show which will culminate in one lucky lady being cast in Mirvish's production of The Wizard of Oz.  The show will be hosted by MTV star Daryn Jones, and will feature the top Dorothy Hopefuls from across Canada competing each week for a chance to stay in the running and be judged by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber himself in the final few episodes. 

The initial round of auditions were judged by leading casting director Stephanie Gorin, and call-backs for the girls given a 'Golden Ticket' on Monday are taking place today.  The show will air Sunday nights starting in September on CBC, and BWW is thrilled to bring its readers these photos from inside the Monday auditions.
