The Carlyle Hotel (Erich Steinbock, Managing Director) welcomed two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole to the legendary Café Carlyle for her fourth engagement in the iconic New York venue last night, January 11th, 2011 (and playing through Saturday, January 29th), Ms. Ebersole presents an all new program -- an eclectic musical evening on the subjects of Hollywood, family...and aging. John Oddo (Musical Director) will lead a quartet. Tony Award-winner Scott Wittman directs. BroadwayWorld was on hand and brings you photo coverage below.
Ms. Ebersole received the 2010 Nightlife Award for "Outstanding Cabaret Vocalist in a Major Engagement" for her critically-acclaimed 2009 Café Carlyle engagement at the 8th Annual Nightlife Awards ceremony in January.
The Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle Hotel - 35 East 76th Street at Madison Avenue. The performance schedule is: Tuesday-Friday at 8:45 PM with an additional show on Saturday at 10:45 PM. There is a $75 music charge for the Tuesday-Friday performances ($40, bar) and an $85 music charge ($50, bar) for the Friday and Saturday performances. Dinner is served from 6:30PM.
