The performances will take place on a full-scale replica of the RSC's thrust-stage. Built in England, disassembled and shipped to New York, and reconstructed in the Armory's soaring Wade Thompson Drill Hall for the occasion, the Scarlet & Gray stage will bring actors and audiences closer together and re-create the sensation of experiencing Shakespeare as it is performed in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
A press preview was held today, June 30 at the Park Avenue Armory where the space was revealed, and BroadwayWorld was there to capture images from the event.
