Photo Coverage: OTHER DESERT CITIES' Jon Robin Baitz Joins Sardi's Wall of Fame!

Jon Robin Baitz, playwright of Broadway's Other Desert Cities, for which he has received a 2012 Tony Award nominee for Best Play, had his caricature unveiled at Sardi's on May 31. In Other Desert Cities, Brooke Wyeth, a once promising novelist, returns home after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas in Palm Springs with her parents, former members of the Reagan inner-circle, her brother and her aunt. When Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir focusing on an explosive chapter in the family’s history, the holiday reunion is thrown into turmoil and the Wyeths are both bound together and torn apart as they struggle to come to terms with their past.

The playing schedule for Other Desert Cities is Tuesday evenings at 7pm, Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturdays at 2pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets, priced from $56.50 to $126.50 are available at telecharge.com or by visiting www.lct.org.
