Photo Coverage: Mary Faber & Christopher Hanke Lead Broadway Workshop Finale

Broadway Workshop, Manhattan's top acting program for young performers welcomed Mary Faber and Christopher J. Hanke from the Broadway company of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying as their special guest performers in their 2011 CAMP NYC finale at the 5 Angels Theatre in Manhattan on August 26. BroadwayWorld was on hand and brings you photo coverage below!

50 musical theatre-loving children from all over the United States came together for five amazing days, August 22-26 in New York City. In addition to rehearsing for the Camp NYC finale, campers took theatrical workshops with Sierra Boggess (Master Class, The Little Mermaid), Madeleine Doherty (Sister Act, Les Miserables), Stephanie Fittro (Legally Blonde), John Patrick Hayden (Tartuffe), Jessica Rush (Jersey Boys, Gypsy) Eric Sciotto (Priscilla, Rock of Ages), Casey Leigh Thompson (Legally Blonde) & Donna Vivano (Wicked, Les Miserables).

On Wednesday of the camp week, campers took a seat at How To Succeed In Business on Broadway where they had an opportunity to see Mary Faber (Smitty) and Christopher J. Hanke (Bud Frump). Campers where then joined by Ms. Faber and Mr. Hanke in their opening number of Broadway Workshop's Camp NYC finale.

At a young age Monica Simoes became a fan of the stage forever. She always dreamt of being a part of theatrical magic. However, those dreams seemed thwarted by her inability to carry a note and her two left feet. Yet, that minor speed bump didn?t stop her. She has melded her passion for theatre and her photographic skill to capture the essence of Broadway. ?Monica is currently a student at Parsons the New School for Design. She hopes to continue enjoying all that Broadway has to offer through the viewfinder of her camera.
