Photo Coverage: Marilyn Maye in Action: Plays Metropolitan Room and Hosts Master Class
In addition to her hotly anticipated New Year's Eve performances at the Metropolitan Room on December 31, Marilyn Maye extended her popular show with performances on January 4, 5, and 6. "Marilyn By Request," in which Maye and her Billy Stritch-led band created a new show based on audience requests, marks her return to the Metropolitan Room. Since she returned to New York in October 2006 after a 15-year absence, Maye has introduced an entirely new generation to a fun-loving performance style that once was the hallmark of large rooms and nightclubs across the country. She has performed 12 Metropolitan Room engagements and three at Feinstein's where she finished her latest run in November.
