Photo Coverage: Landscape of the Body Pre-Opening Nite Party

Although John Guare's Landscape of the Body officially opens at Signature Theatre Company's Peter Norton Space (555 W. 42nd St.) on April 16th, the show's stars and creative team turned out for an early opening night party on April 13th. The show began previews on March 28th.

Directed by Michael Greif (Rent), the play stars Lili Taylor ("Six Feet Under," Aunt Dan and Lemon) and Sherie Rene Scott (Tony-nominee for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Last Five Years, Aida). "What are we after we lose everything? 1970s Greenwich Village hosts a slew of mysterious and seemingly isolated events that connect a group of people on a nightmarish quest for the American Dream. Through twists in time and with some help from a singing narrator back from the dead, John Guare weaves an amazingly entertaining tale of their tragic and comic collisions that force them to discover what it is like to be left with—or blessed with—nothing but themselves," state press notes.
