Photo Coverage: Kevin Kline and Dianne Wiest Take Final Bows in 'I TAKE YOUR HAND'

Yesterday, June 26, Kevin Kline and Dianne Wiest performed "I Take Your Hand in Mine ... the Love Letters of Anton Chekhov to Olga Knipper", a play by Carol Rocamora, in a staged reading benefiting The Acting Company at The Kaye Playhouse.  BroadwayWorld was on hand for the intimate curtain call and brings you photo coverage below.

"Anyone who appreciates great theater and superb acting will love this valentine to the theater as two of America's finest actors perform the words of one of the world's great playwrights," noted Margot Harley, Producing Artistic Director of The Acting Company, which she founded with John Houseman, Kevin Kline and Patti LuPone in 1972. "Anton Chekhov was a writer known the world over for The Seagull, Uncle Vanya, The Three Sisters and The Cherry Orchard. But Chekhov's most beautiful love story is the one that he lived-with Olga Knipper, leading lady of the Moscow Art Theatre."

The Acting Company performed a critically-acclaimed production of Julius Caesar in New York last month, which toured in repertory with The Comedy of Errors. Their 40th season and national tour will begin this fall with the presentation of Shakespeare's As You Like it and Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Recipient of a Tony, Obie, Audelco and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards, The Acting Company has toured to 48 states and ten foreign countries. Kevin Kline, Patti LuPone, Rainn Wilson, Jesse L. Martin, Harriet Harris, Frances Conroy, Keith David, Tom Hewett, David Ogden Stiers, Jeffrey Wright and 350 others began their careers on tour with The Acting Company.
