Photo Coverage: Jeannette Bayardelle Performs for the Heart Gallery

On Thursday, August 14th musical theater actress Jeannette Bayardelle performed at the Queens Mall to benefit the Heart Gallery Foundation.

The Heart Gallery of NYC, Inc. is a unique not-for-profit corporation dedicated to raising awareness about foster children available for adoption. Through the volunteer efforts of some of the country's most prestigious photographers, portraits are taken that help capture the individuality and spirit of each foster child who is eligible to be adopted. These photographs are then shared via the web and through gallery exhibits in the hope that potential families will be moved to inquire about adoption.

Jeannette has starred in the Broadway Production of "The Color Purple" as Celie. She currently originated the role of Celie in the First National tour of "The Color Purple" where she shares the stage with Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child, LaToya London from American Idol, and Tony Nominee Felicia P. Fields. Other credits include: Off-Broadway production "Best of Both Worlds". Jeannette has toured with The Deaf of West Production "Big River," where she shared the stage with Tony and Grammy-nominated Michael McElroy, "RENT," "Sister Act" (Europe), and has entertained as a singer for Royal Caribbean cruise line.
