Photo Coverage: Inside MTC's Winter Benefit with Will Swenson, Jonathan Groff, Sherie Rene Scott & More!

Last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Winter Benefit, an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show featuring Broadway's brightest stars at The Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Fredrick P. Rose Hall (Broadway & 60th Street). BroadwayWorld was there for the big event and you can check out photo coverage below!

This year's Winter Benefit was directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow and featured performances by Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff ("Glee"), Lindsay Mendez (Dogfight), Tony Award nominee Sherie Rene Scott (Everyday Rapture), Tony Award nominee Will Swenson (Murder Ballad at MTC), and Betsy Wolfe (The Mystery of Edwin Drood).

Elizabeth Litt, Sharon Sullivan, and Lisa Towbin were co-chairs of the event. The evening's creative team included: John Lee Beatty (Set), Anthony Pearson (Lighting), and Dan Gerhard (Sound).

As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night. Meeting, photographing and getting to know the cast inspired him to spend his professional life doing what he loved. Walter moved to Manhattan and for a leading role as a Photographer & Photo Researcher. Currently headlining in New Jersey with his partner Richard and family members Dali (Jack Russell) & Gala (Schnoodle). Recently he made his Broadway debut sharing the stage with Hugh Jackman in 'Hugh Jackman on Broadway' as well as receiving the Actors' Equity Association Gypsy Spirit Award.
