How The Grinch Stole Christmas! - The Musical, the new holiday musical based on the Dr. Seuss classic, opened at the Hilton Theater on November 8th after beginning previews on October 25th.  It plays a limited run through January 7th.

"Featuring the hit songs 'You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch' and 'Welcome Christmas,' this beloved tale comes to life for the first time on the New York stage. Max the Dog is your narrator as the Grinch's fiendish plan to steal Christmas from the holiday-loving Whos unfolds. However, the Grinch soon discovers there's more to Christmas than he bargained for in this heart-warming holiday classic." Starring Patrick Page in the title role, the musical features book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin.  Matt August directs the show, which is presented by Target.

The show also features Tony Award-winner John Cullum as Old Max, Kaitlin Hopkins as Mama Who, and Michael McCormick as Grandpa Who, as well as Rusty Ross as Young Max, Caitlin Belcik and Heather Tepe (alternating) as Annie Who, Nicole Bocchi and Caroline London as Cindy-Lou Who, Aaron Conley and Malcolm Morano as Boo Who, James Du Chateau and Eamon Foley as Danny Who, Libby Jacobson and Brynn Williams as Betty Who, Jan Neuberger as Granny Who, and Prince Waldman as Papa Who.

As a 14 year old youth, Walter was transfixed by his first Broadway Show, the original production of 'GREASE'. His Journey to celebrity photojournalism began that fateful night.
