Photo Coverage: Gray Line's 'Ride Of Fame' Campaign Honors Liza Minnelli

Gray Line New York was proud to induct entertainment icon, Liza Minnelli, to the elite group of New Yorker's honored with its Ride of Fame^TM campaign. During her induction ceremony today in Times Square, Minnelli declared," Welcome to New York, New York. If you made it here, you can make it anywhere. My beloved city welcomes you and yours. Get ready, here we go!" The induction included a ribbon-cutting ceremony where Minnelli unveiled her own Gray Line New York double-decker bus decal with her likeness on the front of the vehicle. 

In conjunction with Gray Line New York's Ride of Fame^TM campaign, the City of New York also commemorated the announcement of the immortalization of Ms. Minnelli for her theatrical, professional and personal contributions to the spirit of New York City by declaring March 12th (her birthday) as "Gray Line New York/ Broadway Day starring Liza Minnelli" moving forward. The crowd also sang her "Happy Birthday" as she joined in true Liza Minnelli fashion.

Past Ride of Fame^TM honorees include Donald Trump, Rachael Ray, Whoopi Goldberg, Richard Dreyfuss, Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers, legendary New York Yankee, Reggie Jackson, and Cyndi Lauper.
