Photo Coverage: Broadway Bares 15: Rxxx Raises $654,000
Christina Applegate, David Hyde Pierce, Tim Curry, Jai Rodriguez, Bruce Vilanch and others appeared alongside 150 of Broadway's hottest chorus boys and girls in Broadway Bares 15: Rxx, which was presented at Roseland Ballroom for two performances on Sunday, June 19th. The shows raised a record-breaking $654,000. The first presentation of Broadway Bares in 1991 - featured Jerry Mitchell and six other dancers stripping for tips on top the bar at Splash and raised $6,000. Since then, 15 editions of BROADWAY BARES (1991 - 2005) has raised $3,479,000. Over 6,500 attended this year's performances at Roseland.
The BC/EFA benefit was executive-produced by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell and directed by Denis Jones. Broadway Bares 15 is presented by M*A*C Viva Glam, with Adam Raphael Photography, Absolut Vodka, Next Magazine, 1-800-Postcards, and Out Magazine as additional sponsors.
