The 21st Annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Flea Market and Grand Auction was held in Shubert Alley yesterday, Sunday, September 23, 2007 from 10AM - 7PM. BroadwayWorld.com was there for all the action, bringing fans and the web site's audience LIVE video coverage throughout the day, including celebrity interviews and a first-ever broadcast of the ENTIRE Grand Auction over the web. The site also sold some of it's favorite photos from BroadwayWorld.com photographers Walter McBride and Linda Lenzi.
The 2007 Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction raised a total of $559,810! The event was held outdoors in Shubert Alley and was free and open to the public. From posing with your favorite Broadway star for photos to buying that lost cast recording, signed show posters and Playbills, rare costume sketches or special gift for a theatre-lover you can't find anywhere this year's Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction promises to offer something for everyone. Tony's DiNapoli Times Square donated food for the day.
Several celebrities appeared at the Celebrity Autograph Table and Photo Booth in exchange for donations to BC/EFA.
